Before you begin
You need MoneroDash on iPhone or Android, an internet connection and the public address used by your MoneroOcean workers. You can also explore demo mode first: its workers and amounts are simulated, and no wallet address is required.
The app is a monitoring tool. It does not configure your miner, start your machines or replace your wallet. If you are setting up mining equipment, use the official MoneroOcean website for the pool setup instructions first.
1. Use the matching public address
Use the same public address entered in your mining software. A different address may show an empty dashboard even when your machines are running. Copy the address instead of typing it and check that no extra spaces were included.
MoneroDash never asks for a private key, a recovery phrase or a private view key. Those details are not needed to connect the dashboard. Do not paste them into the address field or into a support message.
2. Load your first reading
From the app’s welcome screen, open your fleet with the public address. The dashboard gathers available pool information: hashrate, worker status, unpaid balance and payout progress. An internet connection is needed to refresh those readings.
A fleet that has just started may not appear immediately. Wait for the pool to accept shares, then refresh. If the information looks old, check the reading time and network connection before assuming that a worker has failed.
3. Identify your workers
Workers are identified from the information returned by MoneroOcean. Use distinct worker names in your mining configuration so you can recognise each machine. MoneroDash shows the existing fleet; it does not remotely rename mining processes.
Compare the app’s worker list with the pool dashboard for the same public address. If a worker is absent, inactive or has no recent share, first check that machine’s pool connection and mining software.
4. Set your reference values
In settings, match the displayed payout threshold to the one configured with MoneroOcean. The threshold entered in MoneroDash is used to calculate progress. It does not change the pool’s real threshold or trigger a payment.
If you use Pro analysis, also enter your electricity rate and worker power figures. These values are supplied by you; they are not an automatic measurement at the wall socket.
Still seeing an empty fleet?
- Are the miner, pool dashboard and app using the same public address?
- Does your miner report accepted shares?
- Are statistics visible on the official pool dashboard?
- Does the phone have an internet connection?
- Are you viewing the real fleet or demo mode?
Next, read the guide to hashrate, workers and payouts. To reach the app publisher, use the support form with your app version and error message, without any wallet secrets.
